BIO//Joe hails from the gritty streets of suburban Maryland where he was cloistered in Catholic schools for most of his formative years until graduating with a degree in architecture that apparently qualified him for duties as an Air Force officer. After commissioning he was quickly whisked to the southwest where he met the lovely Slick Vick. After roasting in the New Mexican sun for 2+ years he gratefully followed Slick to an overseas assignment in Germany and a few years later they ended up in Colorado where he has decided that he'd like to stay, much to the delight of their hilarious hound dogs. Joe enjoys barking commands at the Green Barrettes which always fondly reminds him of his days as a boot camp instructor. Joe has also been yelling at derby refs since the fall of 2006 and doesn't see that ending anytime soon.
ATHLETIC BACKGROUND//Joe spent his teens playing lacrosse on the east coast, skanked on the weekends while in a college ska band, marched in the marathon-length Bataan Death Memorial March at White Sands in full military gear, played on an ultimate frisbee team in Germany, had troops fabricate a skateboard rail for him in Saudi Arabia, hurled on a mostly Irish Hurling team, has snowboarded in numerous states/countries, can barely catch his breath at his cross-fit classes, and is now working on his hockey stop on quads. He apparently also has ADD.
