BIO//Julie Adams, a.k.a. Angela Death grew up in the snowy Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. After earning a B.S. in Electronic Media, Arts & Communications from RPI in 2003, she fled New York State for sunny Florida. She missed her favorite winter sports too much, however, and headed west to Denver. She started playing roller derby in 2005 and became one of the founding members of the Denver Roller Dolls. She works as a freelance video editor and lives in Denver with her two cats and her boyfriend.
ATHLETIC BACKGROUND//Angela Death grew up skating on the 1932 and 1980 Olympic ice rinks in Lake Placid, NY. She started figure skating at age four and after ten years of spinning in circles by herself, she was ecstatic when a friend told her about a girls hockey team that was forming. She played hockey on various teams for 5 years until she became more interested in snowboarding and enjoying her college years. After 6 years of not skating, she found roller derby in 2005 and dusted off her skating skills to put them to good use as a Jammer for the Green Barrettes and the Mile High Club.
