BIO//Raised in a little town with nothing to do, Barbie frequented the local Wagon Wheel on Friday nights with her friends, jamming out and skating fast. She loved it all: the lights, the music, the way her hair blew as she skated around and around gliding on her wheels over the wooden floors. She strayed away from roller skating for many years only to find herself taking her daughters to a public skate session and falling in love with what she saw. In 2006 she found a new calling: Still having flashbacks of the local Wagon Wheel as a young girl, she took her first steps as a Denver Roller Doll. Having her own cheering section from her biggest fans, her three daughters, she skated as Captain with the Bad Apples and was a member of The Mile High Club and then retired only to come back for the 2010 season as a Shotgun Betty. So keep your eye out for this Big Hitter as she says, "Big tree fall down hard," and cackles!
ATHLETIC BACKGROUND//As a young girl Barbie dabbled in basketball, soccer, ballet, and tap. Nowadays she spends her weekends with her husband and daughters shopping, eating out, rocking the mountains, scaring wild animals out of the bush, and riding her bike around the neighborhood with her 1 1/2 year old daughter in tow and faithful husband by her side.
