BIO//Brookie moved to Denver in August 2009 and tried out for the Denver Roller Dolls in January 2010. Brookie Blues is true to her name with her love of the blues and a soul for singing them. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia and spends her 9 to 5 as a financial manager.

ATHLETIC BACKGROUND//Roller Derby is the most recent sport she has taken up. As a kid, she grew up playing softball and later played with the Women’s Fast-pitch Softball Association (WFSA) in Denver. There was also a brief three-year stint racing BMX with the American Bicycle Association (ABA).
