BIO//Double Easy is a former Chinese citizen who moved from Shanghai to the free-spirited town of Berkeley, California, at the tender age of five. After living most of her life in the East Bay, Double Easy left home for college in sunny Southern California in 2003. She earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 2007 and moved to Silicon Valley for a job. Her number is her major and profession in decimal notation (0xEE = 238). She relocated to Boulder, Colorado, in the summer of 2009 to seek new opportunities!
ATHLETIC BACKGROUND//Double Easy was always the last person picked for kickball in elementary school. With her extreme near-sightedness and poor coordination, coupled with general laziness, she shunned sports until taking a table tennis class from Olympic athlete Wei Wang in 2003. When Double Easy found roller derby in 2008 after joining the Silicon Valley Roller Girls, she gave up her college flirtation with table tennis to focus on learning how to skate.
