BIO//Inga is the quintessential mountain girl - born and raised here in Colorado. She grew up on skates in Greeley’s Warnoco West rinks and spent hundreds of weekends, disco-skating, and ripping-up her neighborhood on skates all with a vent brush in her back pocket. After witnessing a DRD derby bout in April 2010, the mothership called her home. Inga now knows that derby is where the purest forms of punishment and escape are combined with what she loves: speed and hitting people. Inga joined the Denver Roller Dolls in May of 2010 and had her derby debut with the Shotgun Betties, but now she is now a Bad Apple and on Bruising Altitude, and looks forward to a great 2011 season!
ATHLETIC BACKGROUND//Inga spent her days of youth in Glenwood Springs, CO where her athletic bent was dominated by basketball and track. She also played college ball for a year. In addition, her family‘s love for snowmobiling and skiing, lent to a severe skiing habit, but after marrying a shredding (and ripped) Alaskan man, she added snowboarding to her repertoire. After bearing 3 beautiful children, the beckoning Colorado summer (and a dire need to escape the family laundry pile) brought tennis to Inga's door. She’s spent the last 10 years punishing yellow felted balls and making a name for herself in the USTA leagues and tournaments. Now she enjoys the best of both worlds – hitting chicks and hitting tennis balls . . .she definitely needs to keep these two sports separate.
