BIO//Kendra is a Canadian marathon-running polyglot with a computer science degree. Or... born in Canada, Kendra got a degree in French and Spanish before realizing that didn't qualify her for any sort of career. She moved to the US of A in 2001, enrolling in a Web Design/Development program, and took up running. In late 2008 she picked up and moved from Ohio to Colorado, and sought out roller derby as a new start in a new state. She tried out for the Denver Roller Dolls in January 2009, and hasn't looked back! She will be serving as the Head of the Public Relations Committee and the Co-captain of the Green Barrettes in the 2010 season.

ATHLETIC BACKGROUND//Kendra's skater number hints at her other athletic pursuit: she is an accomplished marathon runner, averaging over 5 marathons a year for the past 5 years. (A marathon is a 26.2 mile-long footrace!) She has qualified for and run the Boston Marathon several times. For Kendra, a full two-minute jam is NOT 'a marathon jam'!
