BIO//Sister Mary Superego ("Supe" for short) was born and raised in the Windy City, went to college in Mad Town, and after a brief stint living in the Paper Valley, she and her family finally settled in the Mile High City. She is very appreciative of city nicknames. She also enjoys needle arts, reading, baking, and her DVR.
ATHLETIC BACKGROUND//Supe's childhood best friend was a tomboy, who dragged Supe (usually unwillingly) to play every sport imaginable. Somehow it grew on her, and Supe found herself voluntarily playing on the tennis, softball, and soccer teams by junior high. When those sports were no longer available to her in college, she started playing for the women's ice hockey team (forget that she couldn't skate - she knew she'd figure it out). After the hiatus that came with motherhood, Supe discovered roller derby, and knew it was her logical next step.
